Caleb Konrad
Hi, my name is Caleb Konrad and I’m a senior here at Frank McCourt high school. By the time you are reading this I’ll probably already be a freshman in college. I will be attending Suny College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse New York. My major will be Aquatic and Fisheries Science which is rather unique considering the fact that I’m from Brooklyn. Fishing has always been one of my greatest passions so I said to myself why not study my passion in college. I’m excited and scared at the same time. I don’t know exactly what to expect but I can’t wait to live by myself. I also play the drums in a rock band. Maybe one day you’ll hear me on the radio. I’m definitely going to follow this dream too but it is going to have to be on the side for now. I strongly believe that you should always attempt to follow your dreams, however, school is a necessary path that must be taken to enable you to do this.

Isabel Etchevarria

I name is Isabel Etchevarria and at this point in time I don't know where exactly I am going in life but I have a direction. I have a basic plan but who knows if I'll end up being a computer science major or I might change my mind mid way and pick something else. I've learned to be able to not necessarily pick a direction but just keep walking. Even if it feels like there's no point and it feels like it's getting tiring, just keep going. It's better than being in one place. I got accepted into BCC (Bronx Community College), BMCC (Borough of Manhattan Community College) and Laguardia Community College and i’m planning to attend to BMCC.
